This project involved the replacement of an existing flat bay window roof with a new pitched bay roof, finished with clay tiles and cloaked verges to improve both performance and appearance. The new roof provides a more durable and visually appropriate solution in keeping with the character of the property.
As part of the works, new guttering and a downpipe were installed to ensure effective rainwater drainage. Minor cosmetic repairs were also carried out around the bay window area to make good adjacent surfaces following the roofing works.
The project was completed with the repainting of the front door surround and bay window surround using white masonry paint, refreshing the front elevation, tying in with the new bay roof, and creating a clean, cohesive finish.
